10 Day Hornbill Festival + Wildlife + River Cruise

Day 01: Dimapur → Kohima                                    Distance: 74 km | Drive Time: Approx. 3 hrs

Arrival at Dimapur Airport / Railway Station. Explore Dimapur (if time permits): Kachari Ruins,Diezephe Craft Village, North East Zone Cultural Centre Museum. Drive to Kohima and hotel check-in. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kohima.

Day 02: Hornbill Festival – Kisama Heritage Village

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Naga Heritage Complex at Kisama Village. Full day at the Hornbill Festival:Tribal dances & folk music, Indigenous Naga cuisine,Handicrafts & wood carvings, Naga wrestling & traditional archery, Rock concerts, fashion shows & cultural events. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Kohima.

Day 03: Kohima → Khonoma → Kohima  Distance: 20 km one way | Drive Time: Approx. 45 mins

Morning drive to Khonoma Green Village. Explore: Traditional Angami Naga village,Terrace farming,Historic resistance sites. Return to Kohima.Visit: Kohima War Cemetery, Catholic Cathedral. Local Handloom & Handicraft Emporiums.Overnight stay at Kohima.

Day 04: Kohima to Kaziranga ( 5h 0m (223 km))

Post breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga. Kaziranga, the World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India's threatened mammals.

There are numerous other major wildlife fauna.

Day 05 :Kaziranga

Early morning go for Elephant ride @5-30 A.M/6: 30 A.M. (Subject to availability and allotment from forest department). Return for Breakfast to hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep safari in the Central Range. With Kohora as the entry point, the Central Range covers the Daphlang and Kathpora. Later enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 06 : Kaziranga to Jorhat ( 2 hrs )

Post breakfast visit drive to Jorhat Enoute visit Kakochnag Waterfalls, Behora Air Strips , Sukafa Samannay Khetra , Lachit Statue and Check in at Hotel .Overnight stay at Hotel .

Day 7 : Gibbon Wildlife and Jorhat

With packet breakfast drive to Gibbon Wildlife Senctury and walk inside the sanctuary (approx. 2 hours) with a local guide to spot the Hoolock Gibbon and Capped Langur. Drive to Nimati Ghat (approx. 1 hour from the sanctuary). Take the public or private ferry across the Brahmaputra to Majuli (1.5-hour journey). Evening: Check into a guest house/stay in Majuli, visit a Mishing village or attend evening prayers at a Satra. Overnight in Majuli.

Day 08 : Majuli to Ziro ( 150 KM / 5 hrs )

Post breakfasr drive to Ziro Valley land of Apatani Tribed .Upon recahing check in at Resort andEvening free at leisure overnight stay .

Day 09 : Ziro Sightseeing

Post breakfast visit and Walk Through Apatani Villages, Meghna Cave Temple, Pine Grove , Fish Firm .Overnight stay at Ziro

Day 10 : Departure

Post breakfast drive back to Itanagar Airport for onwards journey
