In Jaipur, the Pink City, you can explore majestic forts, ornate palaces, and colorful bazaars that showcase Rajasthan's royal legacy. The Golden Triangle is typically covered in 5–7 days, allowing enough time to experience local cuisine, traditional arts, and authentic hospitality. Whether you are interested in photography, history, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, this route provides a memorable introduction to northern India's most celebrated destinations.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

  • Arrive in New Delhi and check in to The Claridges, New Delhi (central, heritage-style comfort). After a brief rest, explore Connaught Place and India Gate in the evening, soaking in the city’s colonial-era architecture and lively cafés. Enjoy dinner at the hotel or a nearby restaurant before an early night to recover from your journey.

Day 2: Old & New Delhi Highlights

  • After breakfast, tour Old Delhi: visit Jama Masjid, take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, and see the Red Fort from outside. In the afternoon, explore New Delhi’s landmarks including Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Drive past the Presidential Palace and Parliament House. Overnight at The Claridges, New Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi to Agra (via Sikandra)

  • Drive to Agra (around 4 hours), stopping at Sikandra to see Akbar's Tomb. Check in to Trident, Agra, a comfortable hotel close to the main sights. In the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh for a sunset view of the Taj Mahal from across the river. Evening at leisure and overnight at Trident, Agra.

Day 4: Taj Mahal & Agra to Bharatpur

  • At sunrise, visit the Taj Mahal to experience its changing colors in the early light. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then depart for Bharatpur (about 1.5–2 hours). Check in to Laxmi Vilas Palace, Bharatpur, a heritage property. In the afternoon, enjoy a rickshaw or cycle tour of Keoladeo National Park, famous for migratory birds. Overnight in Bharatpur.

Day 5: Bharatpur to Jaipur (via Abhaneri)

  • After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (around 4–5 hours) with a stop at Abhaneri to see the Chand Baori stepwell and Harshat Mata Temple. Continue to Jaipur and check in to Alsisar Haveli – A Heritage Hotel. Spend the evening exploring the local bazars around Johari and Bapu markets, ideal for textiles and jewelry. Overnight in Jaipur. 

Day 6: Jaipur Forts & City Sights

  • Begin with an excursion to Amber Fort, including a jeep ride up the hill. Explore the Sheesh Mahal and courtyards. On the way back, stop at the Hawa Mahal for photos. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar observatory. Return to Alsisar Haveli for a relaxed evening in the courtyard or by the pool.

Day 7: Jaipur to Neemrana

  • After breakfast, depart for Neemrana (about 4–5 hours). Check in to the atmospheric Neemrana Fort-Palace, a heritage hotel built into a hillside fort. Spend the afternoon exploring the multi-level terraces, stepwells, and gardens. Optional activities include a zipline tour or spa treatment. Enjoy a candlelit dinner with panoramic views and overnight at Neemrana Fort-Palace.

Day 8: Neemrana to Delhi & Departure

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some final photos around the fort. Later, drive back to Delhi (around 2.5–3 hours). Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or a short city stop before being transferred to the airport or your onward destination, concluding your 8-day alternate Golden Triangle journey.

Day 1: Delhi 

Depart Mumbai for Delhi by morning flight, arrive after two hours. Transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Birla House (Gandhi Smruti Musuem) and National Museum - displays a vast collection of Indian history, art, and archaeology from ancient to modern times. Later visit Janpath - local market area with ethnic fashion designs. Return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel

Day 2: Delhi 

  • Breakfast: Proceed on a sightseeing tour of Delhi at 9.00 am. Visit the following places, Chandni Chowk - It's a historic area known for its diverse bazaars, delicious street food, and traditional Indian flavors, Jamma Masjid - the largest mosque in India built by Emperor Shah Jehan between 1650 & 1656, Humayun Tomb - the tomb of Emperor Mirza Nasir al-Din Muhammad commonly known as Humayun, Rajghat- Rajghat is a memorial in Delhi where Mahatma Gandhi, was cremated following his assassination in the year 1948. Drive past India Gate -A war memorial arch built in honor of Indian soldiers who died in World War I & Presidents Palace or Rasthrapati Bhavan. Post lunch visit Qutub Minar - Tallest brick minaret in the world, built in the 12th century, adorned with intricate carvings & Lotus Temple - A Bahá'í House of Worship known for its unique lotus-like structure and serene atmosphere; people from all religions can visit. Return to Hotel, overnight at hotel

Day 3: Agra 

  • Breakfast depart for Agra by Innova Cresta Car arrive after four hours transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit to Agra Fort (Moti Masjid) - Majestic red sandstone fort built by Emperor Akbar, with palaces, audience halls, and beautiful views of the Taj Mahal & Mehtab Bagh -Riverside garden complex offering stunning sunset views of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River with guide. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Agra 

  • Sightseeing begins with sunrise visit to Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the modern world, World-famous white marble mausoleum built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbol of love. Return to hotel for breakfast followed by visit of Itmaduallah's Tomb - Known as the "Baby Taj," this exquisite marble tomb is often considered a draft for the Taj Mahal, featuring delicate inlay work. After lunch drive to Fatehpur Sikri (one hour away) A well-preserved Mughal ghost city built by Emperor Akbar, known for its palaces, courtyards, and the impressive Buland Darwaza (Victory Gate). Later visit Bharatpur National Bird Park with an impressive range of over 200 varieties of birds. Explore the park on cycle rickshaw & guide. Return back to Agra. Overnight at hotel

Day 5: Jaipur

  • Drive to Jaipur after breakfast. Arrive after six hours. Transfer to hotel, rest of day free. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 6: Jaipur 

  • After breakfast proceed on a sightseeing tour start at 08:30 a.m Visit Patrika Gate
  • Patrika Gate is a famous landmark in Pink City, Jaipur and one of the biggest circle parks in Asia. Patrika Gate was built in 2016 by the Patrika Group, Panna Meena ka Kund - The main attraction of Panna Meena ka Kund is the uniquely symmetrical look of its stairwell, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)- Iconic pink sandstone structure with 953 small windows, designed for royal women to view street life unseen, Amer Fort & Palace with guide (elephant ride available at extra cost) - Grand hilltop fort with intricate palaces, mirror work, and panoramic views. Enroute to City Palace, view Jal Mahal - beautiful palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, best viewed from the lakeside, followed by visit to City Palace Jaipur, & Observatory Royal residence with courtyards, museums, and stunning architecture blending Mughal and Rajasthani styles. Return to hotel late evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur 

  • Day Free for Shopping Shopping at Johari Bazaar & Bapu Bazaar, Famous markets for jewelry, textiles, handicrafts, and traditional Rajasthani items. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 8: Departure 

  • Breakfast, check out of hotel at 1200 noon. Depart for Jaipur Airport to board flight to Mumbai.
