How many bags, clothing...
should I carry on a holiday?
The buzzword is dressing `sensibly', keeping in mind the prevailing climatic conditions, purpose of visit, type of accommodation being used. Additionally having a packing list helps to check no essentials are left behind and ensuring no item is left behind. The general rule of thumb to be followed when selecting luggage is each person should be responsible for carting their own luggage. A day pack goes well with a child, a backpack with a teenager, strolley with wheels for adults & suitcases for seniors. Off course for long duration visits, suitcases will be taken by adults as well. In terms of clothing- for week long holidays two pairs of loose fitting trousers, couple of T shirts, cotton underclothing suffices, alongwith a pair of evening wear for formal occasions like eating out. A pullover is useful during the winter months in the plains, while fleece jackets, windcheaters are essential on mountain practically all year around. Light cottons, Bermudas, swimming suits, sunglasses, caps, suntan lotions, rubber sandals are `de riguer' when holidaying on beaches. Suffice to say, clothes need to be appropriate with locations, jazzy glittering clothes are a definite no-no in wildlife parks. For more information, contact us. We'll help you find a perfect outfit!
