The `Art of Doing Nothing' on a holiday

Is it plausible? Carefree holiday - sipping a juice, sitting by the beach, reading a book?? Yes this happens often for travelers keen on taking a breaking from the humdrum of busy lives, wanting to recharge their lives or simply seeking a suntan!! Are these kinds of vacations beneficial? For sure they are, especially seen among charter tourists visiting a beach for seven days at a stretch. Benefits range from mind relaxation, transitioning to more peaceful state of mind,& probably coming to terms with oneself. Health rejuvenation trips often last for seven to fifteen days; here too, the visitor does little by way of activity besides pampering the body with massages, detoxifying the internal digestive system & finally taking the mind to a new level - where viewing the world through the third eye becomes a reality. Doing nothing on a holiday is the opposite of active vacationing. It's probable both offer the same benefits! A little more research is needed on the same.
