Terms and conditions

ORDERS/BOOKINGS: All enquiries and correspondence in respect of tours should be addressed to L'Orient Travels, 4,Maitri chaya, Vidyanagari Marg, Kalina, Santacruz (E), Mumbai 400098, India. & or travel services 

 LIABILITY: L'Orient Travels (hereinafter referred to as agents) are not owners of inns, hotels, Restaurants boarding or lodging houses and passenger vehicles. The agents will arrange ticket booking, hotel reservations & tour conducting only as agents for their clients who accept the same, subject to these terms and conditions and those of the concerned. The agents are not liable howsoever the same may arise, for cancellation of journeys, deviations, delays or the failure to provide seats, berth or facilities for carrying or sorting luggage and/or for the failure to provide accommodation. 

 The agents are not liable in the event of any alteration or change of any kind made by any of the services following the acceptance of any booking by them and clients are responsible for any increase in charges which the services may be entitled to require. The agents (both of themselves and on behalf of their servants and agents) do not accept any responsibility for any act, omission, default or neglect of themselves, their servants and agents or of the servants and agents of the travel & tour service for injury, damage or loss of life or goods whatsoever and howsoever the same may be caused. Ticket & tour booking and reservations will only be negotiated by the agents on payment of a deposit which will be accepted in part payment of the total cost incurred by clients. In the event of any travel service cancelling any arrangement made on behalf of a client the agents will only be liable to refund the amount of the monies paid by the clients to them subject to a deduction for such sums if any as the travel & tour services may be entitled to be paid. 

 Any cancellation made by a client must be in writing and the client shall be responsible for all expenses incurred by the agent in respect of making the bookings and cancelling the same and for all payment which the travel services may lawfully require by reason to the cancellation. 

 Force Majeure Clause: A French Term equivalent to `superior force.' The agents cannot be held liable for an event or effect that cannot be either anticipated nor controlled. This includes both Acts of nature – (eg.Floods, Hurricanes, Fires, Covid – 19, Earthquakes, etc ) and acts of people (eg. Riots,Strikes, Terrorism & Wars, etc) & resultant loss/damage of property, life or injury.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND:  

• Between 90 days & 60 days from departure date – Deposit Amount.
• Between 59 days & 30 days from departure date – 50% of tour cost 
•  Between 29 days & date of departure - 100% Cancellation Charge/ No refund

Air Tickets booked by L'Orient Travels will levy the cancellation charge charged by the airline & Refund the balance.
