Hornbill and North East India Tour

Hornbills in Northeast India are iconic birds, often large and colorful, deeply tied to tribal cultures (like the Great Hornbill, Arunachal's state bird) and forest health as crucial seed dispersers, but face threats from habitat loss and hunting for their beaks (casques), leading to conservation efforts like artificial nesting sites and cultural shifts, exemplified by the festive Hornbill Festival in Nagaland celebrating tribal heritage and uniting the region's diverse people.
