Comforts in a hotel, what you need to look at?

We all want incident free stays during our trips to different places, the world over. We all have budgets, apportioning an amount for boarding & lodging. Value for money is what most travelers need. Before selecting hotels, do some research on websites where feedback of past visitors is loaded on guidance websites. The greater the number of reviewers, the better it is to gauge quality. Compare it with your requirements - if location is important & service does not matter, then apportion higher points for location. Generally the benchmark while selecting a hotel, front office behavior, cleanliness of rooms & facilities provided, dining facilities & quality of food provided, eagerness to help are some pre-requisites and given. Frequent travelers prefer branded hotels as there is a standard quality of service `provided'. From our past experience, this may or may not be true. I've had 5 star hotels call me 30 minutes after checking in to my room, asking for them to be rated on some rating app. Yet another hotel offered smoking rooms when non-smoking was requested for. Yet another had a huge wedding function & loud music playing outside, totally ruining sleep of visitors residing at the hotel. Silence at night is a given after a hard days work - choose your hotels well or give us at Lorient Travels a call to confirm stay requirements.
